In 2010, the 2011 Mustang received engine upgrades. It is manufactured at the Flat Rock Assembly Plant in Flat Rock, Michigan. Originally designed by Sid Ramnarace in late 2001 and finished in mid-2002, the fifth-generation Mustang’s design was previewed by two preproduction concept cars that first debuted at the 2003 North American International Auto Show. Bosch Hdi EDC 15 consists of an ECU which analyses the information from the various Sensors, and then operates the injectors at the correct moment. It also controls a Pressure regulator, the exhaust gas recycling electro valve and the turbo charging Pressure modulating electro valve.
