Vauxhall Meriva Remap
The Vauxhall Meriva is classed as a Compact MPV (Multi Purpose Vehicle) and is produced by the British automobile manufacturers Vauxhall Motors. Vauxhall is the British subsidiary of the German company Opel, and is marketed as the Opel Meriva across the rest of Europe. The Meriva has rear hinged rear doors for easy access, is a comfortable ride and are well equipped. There is not much space in the rear and these are not very cheap vehicles to buy. There are better vehicles in this class, but there are also worse.
The Meriva A (2002-10) was based on the third generation version of the Vauxhall Corsa, and first appeared on the market in 2002. This is the smaller MPV to the Vauxhall Zafira and was classed as a mini MPV. It also has the ‘Flexspace’ interior design, which means the back row of seats can be moved back and forward to give more rear leg room or boot space, they can also be pushed into the floor to create more boot space. In 2006 this car received a makeover which mainly affected the front and rear end designs and more engines were added to the line up.
The Meriva B (2010-present) was classed as a compact MPV as it was slightly larger than its predecessor and is no longer based on the Corsa. The new design is in-line with the new Astra and Insignia designs, and is higher quality than previous versions. This version has the rear hinged rear doors for better access for the rear passengers. This is the current version in production.
